The food was absolutely amazing! They gave olives and cress for appetizers! We got a salad and grape leaves which were both super good! The service was absolutely amazing as well! Cute little spot in Georgetown! Will absolutely be back

My trip plans to Lebanon seem to be indefinitely on hold, but to satisfy my curiosity on what it must be like to pass through the contentious suburbs of Ghoberry and enter the posh streets of Downtown Beirut, Villa Yara gets the job done well for now. My favorite of the breakfast options, which can be enjoyed on the sunny patio out back while listening to retro Fairuz hits, was the ful, which came topped with a healthy dallop of olive oil that gave the dish an undeniable richness. The muhammara was also excellent, and if I had one complaint about the meal, it was the somewhat miserly portion of eggplant hidden under the pita chips in the fattet batinjan.

Absolute 10/10! Came here with some girlfriends and we had the best time! The food is platas style so we ordered a whole bunch of food to share among us 3. Definitely recommend

Amazing experience, food are amazing specially the mix grilled platter and also the juices

Excellent Lebanese food. Very good service. Impeccable ambiance. It's all in the details. The plates were authentic, the art, the chandeliers, the wallpaper in the bathroom. I took it all in and appreciated it! I am so pleased we got to try this place. We were a party of 4 adults and 2 children visiting from out of town. We were seated upstairs. A bit of an inconvenience to carry the stroller up the stairs, but we made it happen nonetheless. It was worth it. And it was quite spacious upstairs with the high chairs already in place for us. We visited on a Sunday afternoon, so parking in the area was a bit of a nightmare. Just a heads up. All the dishes we ordered were vegetarian. Loved the mhammara, which was a teeny bit spicy just the way I like it. Texture was great. Presentation of all the food is excellent. Jbene rkakat were delicious, so was the hummus and warak 3enab. I probably wouldn't order the spinach pie again because I expected it to be done the traditional way and not in a puff pastry (just wasn't what I was going for). Flavor was okay though. Labneh was good too but not necessarily a repeat for me. Had the gin basil drink (called jnayneh on the menu) and it was done just right! Thank you for having that on the menu. We definitely enjoyed our meals here and will be back to try it more the next time we visit! Highly recommended restaurant if you're looked for authentic Lebanese cuisine with the perfect ambiance - beautiful Fairuz music playing in the background and yummy cocktail drinks! We were too stuffed to try any desserts, but there's always a next time!

What a pretty place! We went on a perfect spring evening and sat in the courtyard, which gave us LA/Abbot Kinney Vibes. The exterior is seamless from the restaurant's interior, whitewashed, and filled with flowers and twinkling lights and a little fountain in the center. The service was great despite the restaurant being jam packed for Ramadan. We started with the hummus and warm puffy pita and fattoush salad. The waiter brought a little dish of olives and nuts. Delicious. The salad was a little overdressed and the pita was deep fried and layered on top of the salad, almost like fried wontons. Pretty, but a bit disappointing. We had a Bronzino platter. Another beautiful dish, lined with potatoes and baby broccoli and dipping sauces. And dumplings filled with sausages and covered with yogurt, the dough maybe a little heavy. Lebanese wine by the glass delicious and generously poured. All in all, a fun night out in a pretty place with great service. Such a great addition to Georgetown!

Everything we got was amazing: hummus bil-lahmi (diced lamb), batata harra (potatoes), warak inab (grape leaves), and branzino. I'm not a lamb person, but the diced lamb on top of the hummus was so good and really elevated the dish. It was our favorite of the night. I especially appreciated the mountain of tomatoes and cucumbers they gave me because of my gluten allergy lol. I thought the grape leaves were pretty average and the potatoes and branzino were on the saltier side but all the dishes we got ended up complementing each other nicely.

Wow! What a joy! This place is remarkable. The ambiance, the food, the customer service and special attention, the rich culture...everything... when you see people of the same culture as the restaurant eating at the restaurant, you know it has authentic tastes. For example, if you go to an Asian restaurant and don't see any Asian people eating there, to me, it indicates the food may not be as authentically aligned with the richness of what they're used to or can make at home. I saw a lot of Lebanese people with beautiful, traditional attire. I digress... the food was delectable... every single bite caused me and my friend to pause conversation to have a moment with the food. Faces displayed delight...our senses took us away with the intricacy of each dish! Aziz was an incredibly attentive and accommodating server. Man oh man, everything was fantastic! Go here and enjoy!!! It's well worth it.

Super cute restaurant, the inside is so enchanting! I felt like I was transported somewhere else. This is a nice dinner spot if you're looking for a date night in Georgetown. I didn't have the opportunity to try any meat dishes but my friends and I shared the baba ghanoush, hummus, arnabeet (cauliflower), tabbouleh salad, rakakat jibneh (cheese in phyllo), and spinach fatayer (spinach in phyllo). They were all good, but my fave was the spinach fatayer! I also loved my drink Ahwaitini, which was an espresso martini. The best part was that it was a girl's birthday and an employee who had been bussing tables nearby (but was not our waiter) sang the most beautiful song for her. Voice of an angel fr! I would go to his concert.
